Some believe that to be a missionary you must go half-way around the world and share the Gospel with those who have never heard it. Believe me those types of missionaries are desperately needed, and are men and women of incredible faith and passion for God.
But missionary’s are also needed right here in our backyard. Many of our friends and even our family members are not saved and every day that goes by are dangerously moving closer to leaving this world without the Grace and Salvation through Jesus Christ.
We must first become missionaries in our homes, then among our friends and co-workers teaching repentance of sin, faith in Jesus Christ and regeneration through the Holy Spirit. Many have heard of Jesus but they do not know Him truthfully. Their understanding of the Savior is wrong, and when one has the wrong understanding of Christ there is no salvation!
